LAGOON
| Amelia's first amusement park ride. Brother checking on her to make sure she's ok. |
| Still ok. |
| Scared and starting to cry. |
| The ride is really short but only a few revolutions into it, Amelia becomes really upset. Poor baby. |
| The ride ended and Amelia starts to calm down. |
| Amelia's all calmed down and settled in for the next ride; a dragon roller coaster the whole family went on. |
| Grandma Gwendolyn and Melanie on the dragon. |
| |
| Ammon's sisters, Amy and Sarah, in the car ahead of him, Amelia and I. |
Favorite family ride- the sky ride. Jimmy, Connor and grandma.
HAIRCUT...HAPPINESS?
| At least grandpa Doug looks happy ;) |
CONNOR'S 7TH BIRTHDAY
WATER FUN
PARK DAYS
| Unsuspecting little girl... |
| then...POUNCE! Down jumps a mighty brother (I guess Connor was taking a break from being "Calvin" and took on the "Hobbes" the tiger role). |

CHOCOLATE TOUR
PLANETARIUM
| We're outta this world!!...(on Mars) |
| Just chillin' on the moon. |
| Looks like he's walking on the moon. |
| Millie hangin' with her aunties Sarah and Amy. (She's lovin' wearing Amy's sunglasses) |
| Connor checking out some space rock. |
AEROSPACE MUSEUM
| In the mock cockpit of a space shuttle. |
LE JARDIN (the Garden)
| My in-laws beautiful backyard where they have planted an echinacea flower in memorial to Abigail, Amelia's twin. |
| We went to a wedding reception at Le Jardin. It was very beautiful. |
| Grandma Gwendolyn attempting to hold a squirming Amelia. |
| Little girl loves splashing in the fountain at Le Jardin. |
TREE HOUSE MUSEUM
| Pretty cool that right across the street from the Tree House Museum is the Ogden temple! (kindof dorky but I like how Amelia's hand is just framing the outside of Ammon's glasses) |
| I have never seen a temple completely gutted before! The Church is doing a complete redo of that temple all the way to the studs. Can't wait to see it once it's all done. I'm sure it will be gorgeous! |
WHEELER FARM
| Lots of old pioneer and farming stuff on this farm. Lots of animals too but doesn't seem I managed to get any on my camera. That's ok, kKids are more interesting anyway ;) |
| Amelia, distracted for a picture, but was checking out the ducks. |
| Aunt Tamara, cousin Brayden, Amelia & Connor pond side where we fed ducks. |
| River side where the kids had fun plunking in some rocks. |
| Funny old out house. Connor doesn't know what you're supposed to do in there...just wait 'til Scout camp buddy! |
| Connor and Brayden in the tree house. |
FUN IN UNIFORM
Being attached to the Air Force this summer was a lot of fun. Our family was able to stay with Ammon on base while he was there for his training. There were lots of great things to do including bar-b-ques with the other chaplain families, playing at the base's pool, splash pads and parks, going to a rodeo, a family camp out, and a military appreciation dinner (pics below).
| Ammon...err Lt Larsen...with his mentor over his summer training at Hill AFB. |
| Enjoying the family fun at the Military Appreciation BBQ! |
| Connor coming out the backside of one of the blowups. |
| Connor enjoyed jumping in the blowups so much that... |
| he completely blew out his sock!! And he completely wore himself out..he slept well that night! |
| "Hey, don't I know you?" |
| Giving and receiving coins is pretty big in the military. Ammon displayed some he received over his training. Connor drew his own version just for his "Da Da"...so cute. |
WE HAD A GREAT SUMMER!
