At the end of the show, the magician gave out his business cards which look like a bunny (see the purple bunny Connor is holding). He told a little story about a bunny walking through the forest, there was a hunter nearby and someone shouted "duck" to the bunny. When you turn the card sideways, it looks like a duck. Upright it's a bunny, sideways it's a duck. Connor just loved that.

Magic Show
As a family, last Saturday we went to see a magician at a local bookstore. Because we are near Halloween, he dressed up and did his show as a pirate. He was really pretty good and funny. I think Ammon might have enjoyed the show more than Connor. He said he likes to try and figure out the tricks but he said this guy was so good, he couldn't.

Throughout the show, Connor kept saying he wanted to go up and be a helper. Finally, near the end of the show, the magician chose 4 children, one of whom was Connor, and gave each a key to open the treasure chest. None of the keys worked at first, then he did some magic and made one of them work. Inside the treasure chest were green plastic necklaces, one for each of the helpers. Connor was delighted.
