Mazatlan to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico: Day Numero Tres

On our way to our next hotel stop in Mazatlan, we stopped to get some pizza at Pizza Hut. Yeah, kinda crazy to be surrounded by all that great mexican food and to eat at an american franchise restaurant but we were in an unknown city not knowing the food quality and all that. And pizza looked good.

This is a beautiful mexican hacienda we saw from the parking lot of the Pizza Hut.
Can you read what this says? Ammon thought this picture (taken while we were getting gas) was close enough for anyone that saw the picture to read it. Yeah, I don't think so. So I made him pull over a little closer. Can you read it now? It says "Jesus Christ es el camino." I joked to Ammon that it said "Jesus Christ drives an El Camino" you know, those old cars that has a truck bed. For those of you that don't know Spanish, it says "Jesus Christ is the way." That's true.
View of the downtown from our 9th floor hotel in Mazatlan.
The hotel was right on the beach. So beautiful, huh?
Making goofy faces. Gotta love my boy.

Me.
The whole fam as we're heading for the beach.

Connor pretending to be shy.

Awww, aren't we cute?

My man. Beautiful islands behind him.

Moi encore. Connor not soo shy now.Searching for crabs (see the video below). Everytime the waves crashed, the crabs would scatter. They were fun to watch but a little tricky to see as they were pretty much the same coloring as the rocks.

At the end of the third day, we finally arrive in Puerto Vallarta! Yeah, we anticipated this drive to be 12-15 hours but took over 24; good thing we had 3 days to do it in!
