After leaving the hotel in Hermosillo, we attempted to go to the Hermosillo temple. (Sadly before we left we discovered that Ammon had left his temple clothes in California on our last trip and, this being a smaller temple, there were no clothes to rent hence only I could go). So that was the plan for me to go. But, we discovered an interesting thing about temples in Mexico (I say temples because we also went to the Guadalajara temple, see a later post), they are only open in the evenings for 1-2 sessions per evening! We totally thought I could catch a morning session and we'd be on our way. Nope. But we got to see the beautiful temple grounds.
Connor was pretty bummed when he heard the temple was closed. He took daddy's keys and tried to unlock the door!

O.K., so how dang fun is this, to just pick up and go to MEXICO for 10 days?????? That Connor is one lucky lad to have such awesome parents!
